Beat them worse than ut-k without Boogie Yates. A very good crop of newcomers this year.

great job my brutha.....as i have said in the past....i was very impressed with montario haddock last year and it looks like he's picking up where he left off. i've been saying you guys will be a sleeper this year with the bullseye removed from your chest. get yates back and tell kermit to quit hurtin' 'em in practice.

Haddock has lost probably 30 pounds. Looks like a different person. We have a frosh named J.T. Sulton who looks like he should be on Western's team (tall, athletics, shoots the trey, and can dunk with authority).

With our weak schedule, maybe we can win without Yates.

I've actually seen a team play better without their "leader" many, many times. Sometimes I think the others just sit and wait for "the leader" to do something.

Theryn Hudson is back, but is out of game shape. But his size still plugs up the middle. He is a man-child (childlike in that he plays waaay too soft). He'll lay one up and miss it, when he should have brought the backboard down with a thunderous slam.

Caveat......... we are very cautiously optimistic. We won't beat WKU but maybe we won't lose by 25 this year (and beat Belmont), and can challenge for #2 in the East.
