nearly every year when they were a D2 school, but once they became D1, we can't seem to work out a game with them. Is it because they don't want to play us, we don't want to play them, or they're demanding a home and home series, which we don't want? Seems a waste of a good rivalry, but I guess if you can schedule home and home with the Tulsas and Oral Roberts, and others, those are more attractive games. Hey, I'm not criticizing Chris. He and Steve have upgraded our schedule tremendously (though St. Gregory a slight glitch) and if we could start winning some of those games, it would give us a better chance of having a higher RPI and making the tournament if we can't win our tournament.01-lauramac2

My guess is that it is a combination of UCA having an absolutely horrible RPI, and our not being willing to give that brand new Division I team a game at their place. You are absolutely correct however, games against the Tulsas, Ole Misses, and ORUs of this world are a whole lot better for us than a game against UCA. When they get better, maybe it can be worked out.

Whatever the reason, someone needs to get over it, and get that series going.
