A little bummed by the ESPN broadcast
Did anyone else see the "money game" graphic that they put up during the game. Listed all of the SBC beatdowns this year.

Did not mention our wins over Maryland and K-State, and our close calls (Iowa, etc).

You would think ESPN would want to "play us up" a little more.

I did like the segment with Stan Humphries.

Didn't they show a similar thing during the ULM-ASU game?? I know I saw another graphic like that this week for sure. It was during either the Boise State-Tulsa game or the ULM-ASU game.

It was during the ULM vs. stAte game. I think it may have been 2nd quarter, or maybe 3rd Q.

I didn't think I was seeing things. Kinda crappy. But until our teams start winning those money games, they'll always show them.

The point is though we have been winning some of them. At least they did mention our win against Bama in 07.

RE: A little bummed by the ESPN broadcast
The conference is starting to get those "signature" wins more often and while these journalists still marvel and some "freak" victory, the bigger schools are starting to notice. Some of the SBC schools are getting big boys to visit and the experts are beginning to give the SBC a bit more credit (i.e.rankings vs the MAC).

The SBC is sitting throughout a hotbed of football talent. All of the schools have improved the talent level of recruits each and every year. That is going to translate into wins. A second bowl tie in is here. A new football member will be here in 4 years that will relieve some scheduling burden. The SBC is on a glide path to some pretty darn good things in the very near future. I truly believe that.

i think getting the auto-bid to the GMAC is a sign of this as well.
