I tuned in a couple times on 360 because the woman of the house had The Biggest Loser on the tube and I was too lazy to go in the other room. Couldn't tell if the crowd looked good or bad from the shots on the net (man, they are certainly getting good at that!)... Anyway - does that sound about right for the game? If so, that will be one of ULM's better attended games of the year (I believe) and it was on a Tuesday... just saying - for the folks that don't think Tuesday games are worth the TV coverage... (I think that they are as long as a school only has to take on that burden once per year)...

Hard to tell if that was right or not. The only real camera angle is from the home side showing the student section. Couldn't gauge how many folks were there...someone who attended would have to say for sure. Considering the amount of rain that fell starting a couple hours before game time and the amount that was falling during the game, I will take 14,000. That is two of our home games that have been "washouts" if you will with massive storms coming during the game.

Well based on what I saw on TV, I have my doubts half that many entered the stadium but I thought given the weather ULM did a good job turning out.

There were a lot of people in the home side under the awning. That was not shown in the broadcast. You are right...for the weather, it was pretty good. I was there and it was a monsoon!

They showed the monsoon prior to the game, and it basically rained throughout the whole game. Besides, from what I read here, basically it had been raining hard for some days prior, so considering everything, it was well attended, imo.

Congrats to the Warhawks on a great win for their program.

I did enjoy the clip of one my friends in the stands with an ASU tailgate tent set-up to fight off the rain.

Glad someone at the gate at ULM has a sense of humor.

It was raining really hard and I have to hand it to the students for showing up in force and being LOUD! I was starting to worry during the monsoon and the rain for all of these consecutive days when another hawk showed up, met our live mascot and flew off following other animals two by two, but then the Warhawks won so I was ok with it. 03-lmfao

I saw that and thought that was ingenious! Truly funny and very practical! I bet those folks had lots of "friends" sharing the tent with them before it was over.

I'll bet that starts a trend during those monsoons......if ULM allows it.
It was a good idea.

I watched the game and to me it was really hard to tell from the camera angles. Wished they had shown the home side of the field some. Like someone else said, "it rained before and during the game". I did see a steady downpour as I watched. That being the case, 14,378 fans are to be commended for coming out and supporting the team(s). Good job, Monroe.

Here are some pics of the tailgating right before the game.
