Florida State Trustee announces "It's time for Bobby to go"
From the news wires:
"My hope is frankly that we’ll go ahead, and if we have to, let the world know that this year will be the end of the Bowden Era,” said Smith, a 1962 FSU alum and a former Florida secretary of state and state attorney general. “… We are dependent on the goodwill and the financial resources of thousands of people to make this program work effectively. And we don’t have any goodwill out there right now. … People have had it.”
Bowden clock is ticking...

Florida State Seminoles is four games over .500 since 2005, when the Seminoles went 5-0 to start the season. It is time to let him go, but do ask him to retire at the end of this season.

FSU record before Bowden 148-112. 0 National Titles 3 Conference Titles
Record with Bowden 309-91. 2 National Titles 12 Conference Titles
I understand they are frustrated but the man has won twice as many games as all their other coaches combined, and lost fewer. So maybe he deserves to retire on his own terms. He is about the nicest coach you could imagine and made that program everything it is today. This trustee sounds like a spoiled brat to me.
