RE: English - recruiting year
lOOKS LIKE HE RECRUITED SOME TALENT THIS YEAR AS MORE AND MORE OF THE PLAYERS HE BROUGHT IN ARE GETTING PT. I NOTICED THAT #1 (THOMAS FROM SO CAROLINA) GOT INTO A NUMBER OF PLAYS AS WR SATURDAY. BEFORE IT IS ALL SAID AND DO NE I WOULD IMAGINE THAT HE WON'T HAVE A LOT OF REDSHIRTS THIS YEAR.

NEEDS A LOT OF HELP ON DEFENSE AND SOME BURNERS AT WR.

Matt Boyd also participated against Temple and lost his redshirt eligibility.

RE: English - recruiting year
i don't understand burning guys' redshirt years to get them in a couple of plays. Why put Thomas in if you're not even going to throw to him? he's going to end up winning the heisman in 3 years (probably), so why burn up a year needlessly?

p.s. the heisman comment was a joke. but, he is supposed to be very talented. either use him for real or redshirt him.

Brandon Boyle – WR
Joe Fleming – RB
Sterling Vaughn – DB
Blake Browe – LB
Matt Price – DL

Agreed. Good list. A few of the kids that have not played are walk-ons (at least for now. I'm rooting for one of them to work his way up to a scholarship)

Interesting the many of the freshmen that have played are defensive players. RE is trying to fill the depth void the JG left behind.

RE: English - recruiting year
Correct, only 7 have not played. 3 of the 4 JUCOS recruited showed up and all have played but none have really contributed to date.
