OT: "The Ville" Game Thread
Since I figure people are watching, consider this a thread to discuss the Louisville/Pitt game.

My first observation...what is up with Louisville's uniforms saying "The Ville" on the front? I think they should focus a little less on trying to have trendy uniforms and figure out how to win ballgames. For the sake of the conference.

Pitt doesn't scare me... South Florida might be the biggest hurdle of the year, happy we get a week and a half to prepare for that one.

Pitt does worry me. We have never won in Pittsburgh and our only win in the series was closer than it should have been last year. We let them claw their way back into that game.

That is one thing that scares me about UC. The way we play on offense, if we go cold, teams can get back in the game. We dont run the clock out well.
I saw some of the Pitt game last week and from the start tonight. They look slow compared to UC. But anything can happen. I think UC would have to play an absolutely terrible game to lose.

I agree that the USF game may be our biggest test. Remember, Pitt's strength is playing in the NFL after leaving a year early. The freshman is good, but he's no Shady McCoy. A Bill Stull run team does not scare me.

If we can get WVU and Pitt to turn the ball over as much as they have the last two nights, we'll be fine. USF I'm more worried about...

I just am wondering was USF a flash in the pan game. If you take the big plays from them, they really didn't play an amazing game. UC seems to eliminate big plays well as well. Make Daniels drive 80 yards alot, I dont think he can.

I think I'm worried because they have confidence from the win and momentum. We'll see how they look against Syracuse tomorrow. If they win big, they could be on a roll that makes them tough to stop. I think having the extra week off will be a plus for us tho - gives BK more time to prep a solid game plan to deal with USF. I think we should be favored in every remaining game, but college football always comes down to good prep and a bit of luck. Hard to sustain that luck for a whole season.

UC fans need to look at things in a new way.

It is the other teams and their fans who need to be worried. UC can score in bunches on anyone we play. We have options galore.

If any team fumbles within 35 yards of their end zone and we take posession...well we score within three plays.

Bring them on. Bring them all on.

We are, UC!

Exactly why I continue to wonder why the heck we try to teach defenders to pick up a fumble and run with it 01-wingedeagle

The Bearcats play Pitt at Pitt in Dec. Do you know what it's like in Pittsburgh in Dec.? There's plenty cause for concern if only for the weather.

I think S. Fla is better but Pitt still scares me. Back when they blew the game against NC St., the first thing I thought of is it would be just like them to blow that game and then play the game of their lives against UC in the regular season finale.

Let's face it. EVERYBODY'S bringing the game of their lives against UC this year.

Hopefully every one of the banged up or sick Bearcats heals over this bye week, the team gets their focus right, and steamrolls over everyone on the schedule to an undefeated season.
