It's not hilarious, it's actually damn pathetic and sad. I'm sure that $10K would make a nice donation towards LSU's general scholarship fund (I assume their fans are largely behind this). But what are they doing with it instead? They want to spend it on a billboard to spite USC fans.

I think people fritter away much larger amounts of money on more rediculous things with a fair amount of regularity.

That is a funny idea, if it gets done it will be amazing. The USC fan's reply sounds pretty desperate to me. The onepeat thing is pretty clever....his idea, not so much.
