Ole Miss will not win SEC till 2012... book it
In 2009, Alabama finishes 13-0 and wins the SECCG against Florida. They play Boise State in Pasadena and lose 34-13. After the game, Nick Saban compares to loss to the crucifixion of Jesus.
In the offseason, Arkansas leaves the SEC to join the Big 12 (after Missouri leaves to join the Big Ten). To Balance this out, Vanderbilt is kicked out of the conference. Nobody notices. Memphis applies for membership and is denied.
In 2010, Tennessee returns to power, defeating #1 Alabama and #2 Florida, winning the SEC Championship.
In the offseason, Kentucky leaves the SEC to join a new basketball super conference with Duke, North Carolina and Indiana. South Carolina returns to the ACC in the aftermath, joined by Georgia. The new 7 team SEC continues on, dividing up ESPN money 7 ways instead of 12. Memphis applies for membership and is denied.
In 2011, Alabama starts 10-0 but loses the final two games of the season to LSU and Auburn. Nick Saban compares the loses to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, respectively.
In the offseason, Florida and Tennessee leave the SEC in protest after Nick Saban is named SEC commissioner. To balance out the schedules, Mississippi State is kicked out of the league leaving just LSU, Ole Miss, Alabama and Auburn. The conference adopts the UFL's scheduling system. Memphis applies for membership and is denied.
In the 2012 season, Ole Miss just misses out on winning the SEC Championship when a last second goal line stand preserves an LSU victory in Oxford. After the game, tigerdroppings members blast LSU for not winning 137-0.
December 20th, LSU leaves the SEC to join the newly expanded Big 12 south and rekindle the glory days of the LSU-Arkansas rivalry. In response, Auburn and Alabama leave the SEC to form their own conference so they can play each other 12 times a year. This leaves Ole Miss as the conference's sole remaining member. Memphis applies for membership and is denied.
Because of this, on December 21st 2012 at 2:09 pm EST, Ole Miss will be named 2013 SEC Champion. At the very moment this happens, the Mayan calendar ends and the Apocalypse begins.
