I stand by my prediction if Chicago gets the Olympics, Rahm resigns probably after the mid- term election and he becomes the Olympic Czar. He will be Obama's bag man on the point. Daley going to DC before Copenhagen was NOT to seek Obama's help, but rather to work out the details of the ca$h payouts for the fellas. Some here in Chicago think Obama works for Daley, I am not a believer in that but it is out there.

Eh, I was actually at that site Sunday (shooting!) and while I've seen the articles, the site has been WAY oversold. It is nowhere near something that is Olympic ready or really has any chance to be that way without a TON of money pumped in.

I'm sure that it is just a coincidence that Valerie Jarrett's former employer happens to own the real estate located just across the street from the location where they want to build the Chicago Olympic Stadium.

Personally, I think Rio should get it. South America has never hosted it and we have better things to worry about right now. Because I love my country and would like to see the economic impact of the Olympic games like 1996.

You want to see huge debt? It took Montreal 30 years to pay off their 1976 debt.

If Obama manages to tip the scales in favor of Chicago, as usual, any success for Obama is punishment for the USA.
