These new padded chairs leave you absolutely no leg room due to the chair back in the next row taking up space. Who else feels the same way? I think its a nice gesture but its so uncomfortable. I wish we could just unstrap them off the bleachers at your choosing. I havent sat in my seat for more than a quarter.

With an older stadium, you're going to have these problems. Personally, I don't see a difference from my seats, just a whole lot more comfortable.

I hated the red back seats and that was one of the reasons I moved with my buddy to the Lair. It looks like there is more room with the black seats, but I have not sat in them.

I sit in the Lair and we moved temporarily yesterday and got behind some of the black seats, and there was no leg room. But what can you do? We just adjusted - it's not perfect.

It does take some leg room away, BUT my fat butt was much more comfortable when I did choose to sit. However, I stood because I wanted to much of the time of course.

I sat in a seat with the black back yesterday, and my shins were right up against the back in front of me. I'm not that tall 6'1", and I can't imagine how tight it would be if I were any taller.

I guess the solution for all of the taller crowd would to sit in the upper deck. I sat up there for one of the HS games a couple of years ago, and believe me, there is all the room in the world for your legs. It's really wide in the S.E. sections.

its great to see our complaints centered around facility changes/upgrades with the stadium, rather than team issues as we have with the Bengals. You can have a great stadium, but if the product stinks its not worth it...

The upper deck has the chair backs too in the UCATS section. The leg room is very tight but it is more comfortable. I brought my 80 year old dad who has a bad hip and it was the only way he could come, the bleachers would have killed him, by the way he loved the game.

You almost have to stand on your seat to allow people to get past you. More comfortable than the red ones, but there is still no leg room.

That's funny to me. There is some dude in my row that is practicing to be a grown-up alcoholic that gets a couple of beers (for himself) two to three times a half. As he makes half the row stand up, his "I'm sorry and excuse me" gets more slurred as the game goes along. He must spend over $60 each game for beer and misses one-third of the action. Should just go to bar, it would be easier and less expensive.

I think the issue is where they put them where there is no aluminum chair back to help support the new black back. The new black alone in the lower rows gives way and you canl ean back on soemone. I think they work fine in the areas that have always had backs on their seats.

Solution ----- Stand and make some noise the entire game. No worry about leg room, you only sit a few minutes during those god awful long TV timeouts and end of quarter breaks, and Nippert gets so loud NOBODY will want to play us at home!!!!!
