great scene,, really liked the whiteout look. I always thought that stood out more than the black out look. Penn State has made that look very cool and it suits UC also.

You must have never been to a UC game before. Stadium has been full for three years. Maybe you should stick to your WVU games.

Pretty good, but Penn State is by far the best at doing it IMO. It looked fantastic last night.

I'm pretty sure the tickets that didn't sell on the bottom were ONLY made avaliable to the students for 10 dollars a piece. The ones at the bottom are obstructed view seats. Also, the whiteout was cool but I think blackouts are cooler.

RE: Whiteout panoramic picture
Even with those empty seats behind the visitors bench I still feel we had over 34,000 there yesterday. Those seats where the ONLY empty seats and there were tons of people wondering the concourses and at all times. I know you all wont agree with me on this but I think there were between 34,000 and 35,000 in the stadium.

Been going for a lot of years and I'm pretty good at playing guess the attendance #. This is 2 in a row that don't add up. Are they announcing tix sold or bodies in the gate? Knew of 10 season tix in our group that went unused b/c of family conflicts with the noon kickoff.

Shank pavillion was booked. Only open seats were the first few rows of obstructed view seats behind the visitor's bench.

It seemed to be just their take, but the tv announcers made a comment during the game that it had to be over 35K - they said the standing room areas were packed or words to that effect.

RE: Whiteout panoramic picture
The bridge and the concourse were packed all game long. Something is screwed up with those damned hand scanners the retirees at the gates are always fighting with. The numbers they have released for the first 2 home games are way the hell off.

Do they go by tickets scanned or by people walking through the gates? Or both? Because I saw, with my own eyes, the staff scanning tickets and letting people walk around the gate.

Unfortunately the scanners. Seeing the stadium and then released numbers something is not right.

Why would they be only available to the students? Most of my friends didn't even know those overflow tickets were available to them.
