Will Spurrier throw it again on first down?

That missed face mask call with 6 minutes in the fourth quarter on 3rd down may have cost Ole Miss the come from behind win.

That was a big missed call.

Excuses, Excuses, Excuses.

You're the #4 team in the country. There are no excuses whatsoever.

You're right. That's two bad calls on the same drive. If I was an Ole Miss fan I'd be throwing things at the TV.

First, does that stop somebody from wanting to post their opinions?!?
They are not #4 worthy, period.

Second, they didn't beat us like a drum. Just because the wheels fell off late, doesn't mean that they dominated us.

I'd wager that most of us think Hall could have bulldozed his way across the line for a single yard.

Ha, I didn't have a problem with shotgun on 4th and 1, but for goodness sake, let hall run it and put a samich on the other side of the line of scrimmage. I guarantee he would have gotten the yardage.

If Bass was healthy and ready, I think we could have been in that game.
Um.. we WERE in that game. Driving the ball in the 4th quarter, in Ole Miss territory, with a chance to cut it to a field goal.

Then we lined up in a shotgun on 4th and 1, and that was ballgame.

We weren't in that game. We didn't have a QB that could get the ball to our receivers or run. Our D kept us in that game. If a healthy Bass had played, we would have put up more points.

And done what after? Gone 3 and out? We had NO passing game with Hall at QB!

Add to that the fact that the electricity went off on the Ole Miss side on that same drive and an Ole Miss fan might start getting paranoid.

No...nothing stops you from posting an opinion.

Just as no one stopped me from posting the opinion that I think it's dumb to run down a team that beat you 45-14.

I've always thought it's in poor taste to run down a team that beat you like a drum this season (well, and last season too)

I hear you, but it's Missippi. Damn, I love it!

Week 3 and all their expectations are DOWN THE DRAIN!

4th place in the SEC WEST...your Ole Miss Rebels!!!!!

RE: STR -- S.Carolina vs. Ole Miss
Two things -

1. Eli's 2003 Ole Miss team would have blown this squad completely off the field.

2. Memphis had a pretty damn good football team in 2003.
