Reason to be wary of Fresno State game
Fresno State has won seven games against ranked non-conference opponents since 2004.

That fact alone is reason enough to realize that this is not your typical non BCS team, but one very much capable of winning this game if the Bearcats don't play well behind the support of our fans Saturday.

I am going to assume that Fresno almost never plays in the rain? Looks like rain on Saturday and UC has been practicing (no indoor bubble) all week in this crap.

rain usually doesn't bode well for a pass happy team....Pead and Ramsey better be ready to rock if called upon.

Fresno State hasn't beaten a ranked team, conference or non conference, in the last 4 years going 0-10. As for the weather I can't imagine it being a factor at all in terms of play calling, look at the Auburn WVU game from last Saturday which was postponed for over an hour because of rain but the two teams combined for 74 pass attempts in a monsoon. I think that Pead and Ramsey will feature prominently on Saturday because Fresno State has given up 500 yards on the ground so far at 6 yards per carry which is, to put it mildly, not good.

Also guessing Fresno rarely plays at 9 am Pacific time.
