What do all these schools have in common? Emotions are on the side of the underdog and their opponents could take them forgranted and be emotionally down for the games and when that happens there can be upsets.

Tennessee has no emotions.....they are walking to the gallows.

UT players are now seeing how much of a loud-mouth idiot their coach really is.

I hope you are wrong for Tennesse fans. When LSU signed Sabine he was cold as a wet fish and was disliked by many. Winning seems to change that

And in Sabin's first season the Tide went 7-6 including a home loss to Louisiana-Monroe. I think that Tennessee will be lucky to have a better record than that.

USC plays Washington, winless a year ago without its star QB Matt Barkley and opened a 22 pt favorite and the spread is now 19 in Las Vegas.

LSU plays little University of Louisiana Lafayette whose head Coach came from Va. Tech where his teams were nationally ranked offensively and UL-L is currently 2-0. What a mighty upset that would make to this 26 pt underdog who has not ever beaten the Tigers and not even scored a TD in the last 11 meetings.

Mighty Oklahoma plays instate rival Tulsa without Bradford and the spread has gone up from 14 to 17pts in Las Vegas. Tulsa has a great offense and is one of CUSA's better defensive teams.

The high flying Ole Miss Rebels play tiny Southeastern University of Louisiana who has only returned to football after an 18 year a gap in 2003 and there is no line on the game. Southeastern has scored 110 pts and is undefeated in its last two games against its very week tuneup opponents.

Finally Tennessee is a 30 pt underdog to Florida even though it is a major SEC school.

What do all these schools have in common? Emotions are on the side of the underdog and their opponents could take them forgranted and be emotionally down for the games and when that happens there can be upsets.

I will be surprised if any of these games are close, the only one that I could see being interesting is Oklahoma vs. Tulsa and even without Bradford OU should win this game.

Note: UCA is an FCS school (formerly I-AA) not a Division II school. As bad as I hate to say it WKU better watch out...UCA is not a push-over. They should have beaten Hawaii.

When did they move up?

I believe that this is their first year in FCS. I believe they've spent the last two years in transition, just like WKU. Notice that while their division history doesn't list them in FCS yet, their conference history does list them in the Southland.

2007 was a rough year for them going 6-5....but they rebounded last year to a 10-2 record.
They are a VERY WELL coached team!

Yeah, I remember looking over WKU's schedule at one point this summer and thinking, well at least they have one win for sure. After researching UCA a little bit, I wouldn't call it a sure win by any means. If I were a WKU fan, this game would have me very worried.

Trust me, Kapp - I am very worried that we are going to look foolish against a stellar UCA team. We had better come to play with every snap or this one can slip away quickly.
