I wasn't paying any attention to NHLPA drama until...
rumors started flying that for Bronco Glenn Healy might be the new big man in town.

What makes you think Healy, a lackey of Kelly's, is gonna get within a jockstrap's sniff of the NHLPA head job? That's why they pushed Kelly out in the first place. I heard a former CAW head is going to end up with the job.

Update: Healy officially out of the NHLPA.

Healy resigned.

The reason I thought he had a shot, is the early rumors had the NHLPA making a quick move to promote from within and Healy was one of the names that came up first as he didn't resign right away and was in talks with the union board the morning after Kelly was fired.
