Consideing that you guys have accomplished NOTHING of note on the national landscape, some of your guys attitudes is just short of AMAZINGLY arrogant and stupid....

Does FIU REALLY need ESPN

Please learn some reading comprehension, you might want to go to BCC cause obviously your fau education didn't get you very far in that area. We don't go around making arrogant statements like a certain drunken coach before getting pounded by UT.

The question ITSELF is arrogant. EVERY team needs ESPN coverage, and the fact that some of your fans even think they are above the leader in sports programming in the world is delusional.

Some of the posts are down to earth, so I guess it isnt ALL fans out of control. But some of them are just out past Pluto in regards to the perception of your program.

All youve done is hired a well known basketball coach, and he hasnt coached a game, yet it seems like everyone from FIU is acting like thier doesnt stink and they are above it all.

YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED NOTHING IN THE WORLD OF NCAA ATHELETICS OF IMPORTANCE.

You have no leverage AT ALL in the world of college athletics, (nor does any Sun Belt program) but the rest of us arent acting like were Gods gift to college athletics and should be above contracts that weve signed.

That seems really arrogant. FIU is not ready to play the game, it would be like throwing Christians to the lions? Do you know the definition of the word arrogant. If you need help, just refer to the fau board about a year back from today, talking about dominating the SBC and beating Texas. That worked out for you.

Im actually just trying to have some fun and stir some stuff up before the college season starts. Weve been TOO nice to each other this off season, and now its time to rile some feathers.

I do think its a lil strange though that some of you guys are looking at this as some sort of slight against you. I think its a scheduleing change to drive up interest and viewership and I just cant see why you guys wouldnt want that, nor why the administration doesnt want that.

He's not mad, he's just being a female hygienic product, with a sub par education that prevents him from properly grasping the English language. Basically, your run of the mill product of find another university.

Yeah the headlline was meant to stir the pot a bit (muh ha ha). But what I was getting at was this is the first game in the IT era. Did we really need it to be nationally televised? Then I went on to say something to the effect that NE media just want to get back at IT. You know, put him up against the defending nat'l champs....a kind of high tech lynching.

It's still going to be interesting to see how this plays out because I sure don't have a clue.

You wont have time, your too busy trying to show the world that you are relevant and too important to play on ESPN. Will you boycott the Tourney as well if you make it because as the 16th seed youll have to play the #1?

Well just go about quietly winning bowl games and championships while you guys want to give your Head Football coach a raise for leading you all to YET AGAIN a losing season in football.

Well to be fair I do want thier stadium (untill ours is built), at least wed would be able to put fans in it and have football chants instead of Ole ole ole...
