My favorite part is beating FBS conferences in the Sagarin ratings. I shouldn't have done that.....this one may hit 200 posts afterall. lol
I just wanted to chime in on this one before I make it a Smack Thread...
FBS, enough said. We are what you WANT to be. Congratulations on scoring so high in Sargrains, i'll be sure to reflect back on that when I am sitting in a stadium watching my team play in a bowl game.
Well GSU Eagles can take solace in the fact that by moving the thread to the smack forum it is officially dead. Oh well, I was really hoping to beat the post count for his "ooh ooh, pick me pick me" thread.

it doesn't have to die, just go over there and keep it rolling! I wish our Smack Board had more traffic, perhaps this will help. You can say ANYTHING you want over there, as long as it is not riddled with profanity or blatant personal attacks. Go take advantage of it.

Not having sports writers and fans call the division you play in Division II.

- national exposure:
TV: New Orleans bowl (ESPN), home games vs BCS teams (Missouri, OK State) on ESPN2, conference games on ESPN2 (MTSU, FAU)
Mags and online coverage: Phil Steele, CFN coverage, USA Today team pages, ESPN blog, SI team page, rivals/scout team pages, etc.
- scheduling:
... up to $1m payout for money games, being able to schedule home and home games (or 2 for 1) with BCS teams and other mid majors (... can't wait to play Navy at home in 2012 ...)
- better facilities !

i forgot we were playing Navy at home in 2012, man that's gonna be crazy. I'm a big Navy fan, my grandfather was in the Navy in WWII and Korea. He actually designed the shell casing for Big Boy, which I always thought was really cool.
It'll suck having to pull against the Midshipmen, but it's their fault for being on our schedule!
