2009-2010 Schedule
I received my schedule in the mail Saturday. There were no surprises from what was already posted. However, I do have a question about the home game on November 19. On the schedule, it is listed as TBA. Does anyone out there have an idea who we may be working out a deal with to play that night?

I've also seen the schedule and was curious about that, since it is our first home game.

RE: 2009-2010 Schedule
seems the mystery game is now Nov 21 and is against Alabama St. another NCAA tourny team. It's on the same day the women play Bama, so I'm guessing maybe they are working a doubleheader?

That's a pretty tough schedule. TSU's the closest thing to an easy game and who knows what they're going to have with a new coach and Robinson gone.

RE: 2009-2010 Schedule
The schedule does seem pretty challenging for a younger squad. Typically, coaches make their easiest schedules when the team is young, but Byrd kept it fairly tough.

TN State may be improved, but they lost their best player in Robinson. I think the easier games will be with Eastern Illinois. They were ranked 289 in the RPI which is worse than TN state's 269.

The toughest part of the schedule is the AIA tournament in Seattle. With a young team, it will be a challenge to come away with 1 win.

Thanks for input on E Ill. Guess I thought I remembered them being a bit more competitive.

Anyone have any idea about plans for a scrimmage like they did last year?

I haven't heard anything about a scrimmage this year. I'm wish they would have it again. I'm curious to see the new players. Since a couple of the incoming
class may redshirt, it would be the only chance to see them play this year.
