Now your talking Scotto. Seems like the best solution I've heard. As far as I know, Neighbour has not yet been cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse. Of course, that cost us Sey Orsini (sp) a few years ago because he was finally cleared after school started and decided to move on before that.

If we don't "find" him a scholarship I can't see him coming. Maybe "III", if he really has a scholarship, will give it up for the good of the program- probably not. One question I don't have an answer for is, would Neighbour have to pay instate or out of state tuition? If the answer is instate, there might be a very small chance he would pay his own way but I really doubt it. No way he would pay out of state fees.

You've got to be kidding Mickey. Matt(who has earned his way, the hard way)should give up "his" scholarship for a kid that is an unknown at this point. I don't pay any attention to any of this 'coach-speak' about these new recruits. We've had so much smoke blown up our asses over the years by these coaches(that is not directed directly at Steve, it would take in most all coaches, yes, I know it's hard to believe, but it would even include Mike Newell)that I take all of it with a grain of salt, and make no judgements until I see them in game competition against other schools, not in a pick-up game against their teammates.

I REALLY hope that's not the case. But Doc said he doesn't have any inside info on these things, so hopefully it's just conjecture. WN is the centerpiece of this recruiting class.

I am holding out a little hope.

We didn't spend thousands of dollars recruiting a kid from England, placing him at a school in the USA, touting him as the next Dirk Nowitzki, just so we could tell him "If you want to play in Little Rock you have to walk on". There are plenty of midmajors (maybe even higher level schools) that would be happy to find him a scholarship. If he is cleared by the NCAA we'll find him a scholarship- it may hurt someone's feelings and some folks won't like it but we won't just let him walk away.

This was his stats for six games. He definitely needs to improve his FT shooting but, otherwise it was pretty decent.
