Huskie flag flying on Clark Street
I just drove down Clark Street outside Wrigley Field, and saw an NIU flag proudly flying over the front door of the Goose Island Brewery. (A "Chicago" flag is the only other hanging on their building. I know they have hosted our televised football games in the past... is there an event there today, or are they actually designating themselves as an NIU bar on a block dominated by Big ten flags (and one Alabama bar at the end of the block)?

In any case, nice to see thousands of drunk cubs fans looking up at a Huskie flag!

It is NIU's bar but not higly advertised. There is an NIU flag inside of wrigley as well. We dont have much though sadly.

About half of the people on here would not set foot in Wrigleyville. They prefer hanging out in the projects on the south side. Oops. I forgot. THey tore the projects down. I guess the good thing is it is no longer possible for a sniper in the projects to shoot a fan in the stands. THe downside is Sox fans now have nowhere to hang out. 05-stirthepot

Words seen on a t-shirt they were selling outside The Cell yesterday for the Sox-Yankees game: "Wrigley Field - World's Largest Gay Bar"
