The Devils face Northwestern on ESPN 2. Season starts Sept 2nd vs UTEP. I'll be at the opener, they are retiring Tillmans jersey at halftime and Mike Price returns to pac ten country, this time its gonna be a little tougher than his last visit to Tempe.

Is Northwestern expected to be any good? I was wondering about them. I want to see how ASU will do because there were so many high expectations last year for the Sundevils.

I'd say Northwestern is no cream puff, a pretty solid team overall but still in the lower echelon of the Big Ten, this is a game ASU should win, but the Devils have struggled on the road

Ya, I know, at least I hope so, I hope that you beat Northwestern because they're in the Big10.

yah! I remember when Northwestern had that Rose Bowl season when Barnett was the coach. Those were the good days for NU but things have went down hill a bit. I hope they are able to get it back together. I know people are still talking about their program because of the guy who died during drills in hot conditions or whatever, I think he name was Rashadi Wheeler.

How are the receivers going to look? Did Skyler Fulton get drafted? I wonder if he did. He was one of the best high school athletes to come out of the state of Washington. great kid.

Im not sure if he signed but he is going as an undrafted free agent to the Colts.
ASU has a great WR in Derek Hagan (1060yds rec last yr 9 TDs) they also have 3 solid TEs. The rest of the wideouts have potential but are unproven, Terry Richardson has the most experience he played as a frosh last year and had nearly 300yds rec and a couple TDs

I hope Fulton is able to make it with the Colts. He has so much speed and it looks like baseball is over for him but who knows. I read something about an incoming freshman for ASU at Tight End who is suppose to be really good. Sundevil, can you talk about him? I guess he was a Super high school all american or something.

Hagans awesome, he was only a soph last year, he's pretty physical has decent speed and great hands, also runs very good routes and uses his body and strength. He's like 6-2 210.
