I also heard we'll be playing at Tulsa and Ole Miss this year. Another great schedule for us. Supposedly two more good programs we're working on to fill out the schedule. I guess it will be announced when they get the deals done. I can't see us winning as many games as we did last year, but maybe we can get lucky and win the tournament. If there is such a thing as the law of averages, we're certainly due.

Another great schedule..??? Ours last year was 217 out of 340-something. That wasn't even in the top half.

I would think Tulsa and Ole Miss would improve it some. And all the schools we scheduled can't have down years at the same time two years in a row, you wouldn't think.

I agree with you Michaelspappy, another great schedule. Last year we just had teams on the schedule who traditionally have been pretty good, but who were having some of their all time worst years. See Pepperdine, Loyola Marymount, Rice, Louisiana Tech. I venture to guess that La Tech will be better this year and the other three are off the schedule. Cal Poly is back, but the addition of Ole Miss and Tulsa to a non-confernce schedule that will include Creighton, Missouri State, Wright State, Oral Roberts, and Memphis makes for a pretty tough slate.

If those teams have their typical seasons from recent years, that would be a tough non-conference slate.

We will clearly be underdogs at Ole Miss, at Tulsa, at Wright State, at Creighton, and against Memphis here. Likely be favored here against MoState and ORU, although those are certainly no gimmes. If LaTech is on the road we'll probably be slight underdogs there. We have Cal Poly here, which should be a win. On paper, we're probably 3-6 at that point or 4-5, at best. Do we know our other 2 games? We won't win 20 games this year, but with some success may end up with a pretty decent RPI.

I undeerstand Steve is working on the other two games, but I don't know who they are. Supposedly good name schools. Whether they're BCS or mid majors, I have no idea, but it sounds like we'll be happy with them.

I think you just found out about the "good name schools" that you've been hearing about.

The kid from england is on campus.
Jerry, the pickup games could be before or after weight lifting. I don't know. Today it was going to be after.

DI, are you hallucinating? Seeing 6'10" skinny, white kids? I talked to Steve today and Will Neighbour is getting ready to play for the English Under 20 National Team later this month.
