Football Single Game Tickets on Sale
NIU FOOTBALL SINGLE GAME TICKETS ON SALE NOW
Order Online at http://www.niuhuskies.com or http://www.Ticketmaster.com

DeKALB, Ill. - Single game tickets for each of Northern Illinois’ six
2009 home football games are now available for purchase, NIU Ticket
Manager Eric Schultz announced Wednesday. Fans can order tickets on-line
at http://www.niuhuskies.com or http://www.Ticketmaster.com, by calling Ticketmaster
at 1-800-745-3000 on in person at the NIU Athletic Ticket Office in the
Convocation Center.

Tickets for individual games are priced at $20 for the general public,
$15 for student guest tickets, senior citizens (62 and older) and youth
(8th grade and younger).

The Huskies’ six-game home schedule kicks off Sept. 12 as Northern
Illinois takes on Western Illinois in an intrastate battle beginning at
6:30 p.m. (Central). Two weeks later, NIU will play the 1,000th
intercollegiate contest in school history when Idaho visits Huskie
Stadium on Sept. 26 with kickoff at 2:30 p.m.

Northern Illinois will welcome alums back to campus on Oct. 3 with a
2:30 p.m. Homecoming game versus MAC West foe Western Michigan to
celebrate the 103rd Homecoming in school history. The Oct. 31 league
game versus Akron will mark the first meeting between the teams since
the 2005 MAC Championship game and will be televised throughout the
country by ESPN Plus beginning at 11 a.m. That game will also mark Hall
of Fame Weekend as that annual celebration will have its own designated
game in 2009. Complete information on the Hall of Fame events as well
as the 2009 inductees will be announced in the coming weeks.

NIU’s November home games will be played on back-to-back Thursdays as
the Huskies will play host to Eastern Michigan on Nov. 5 while defending
MAC West champion Ball State visits DeKalb Nov. 12. The Eastern
Michigan game will kick off at 6:30 p.m. while kickoff time for the BSU
contest is to be determined depending on television considerations. One
or both of those games may be chosen for national broadcast on ESPNU.

In addition to the single game home tickets, Northern Illinois fans can
now order tickets to the Huskies’ road games at Wisconsin (Sept. 5)
and Purdue (Sept. 19) through the NIU Athletic Ticket Office. Go to the
Football Tickets page of http://www.niuhuskies.com to download the Away Game
Order form, or call 815-752-6800.

While single game tickets are available beginning Wednesday, full
season tickets, as well as the three-game mini-plan, provide the best
value options and are still available for purchase. With either the six
game or three-game season ticket option, fans are guaranteed the same
seats for each game and will receive significant savings from individual
game purchases. In 2009, fans can pick any three games to make their
own personalized mini-plan for just $50, while the six-game season
ticket is priced at $90, with a $12 discount for NIU Faculty and Staff,
NIU Alumni Association or Varsity Club members, and senior citizens.

NIU also offers group ticket pricing for single games for 20 or more
people with tiered discounts depending on the size of the group.
Contact the NIU Athletic Marketing Office at (815) 753-1923 for more
information or to arrange for your group to attend a Huskie game in
2009.

So very true! But the tingle I get is not from the anticipation of football. It's from knowing that I'll be sitting in the same stadium as all of you! 04-jawdrop

So...tell me, boys. How does it feel to tingle a perverted old fart? :schwartz:
