No because soccer sucks and i dont follow it. For all i knew it was an international water polo event. And this thread needs to be moved. But since all the mods are probably watching this event, Im sure this thread will hang around on the main board for a few more days.

If you think soccer sucks, don't post in this thread. Besides, the was the UNITED STATES. Tiger related or not, it deserves to be up here at least until after the match.

Besides, there are a number of soccer fans on this forum, and if they want to have a thread about it, let them do it. It'll be moved eventually.

What a tough game for the United States with a man down. Once the U.S. was a man down I knew it was going to be a tough game against the Italian national team..I was hoping for a tie with us eleven against elven. U.S. National Team loses 3-1 to Italy.

This is not memphistigers-usasoccer.org. It just bothers me that a sport as unexciting as soccer is exempt from the rules on the main board. And dont play the patriot card with me.

To be fair, we had an opportunity to tie it with Davies missed corner opportunity, and should have had another PK when Donovan went down. But we all know the US will never get any calls against the big boys. The redcard was completely absurd to begin with. 03-phew

Just because you don't like soccer isn't reason enough for this thread not to be posted. IT'll be moved soon anyway. Lighten up. It doesn't personally affect you, because you don't care. Since you don't care, leave this thread for those of us who DO.

Makes sense, but i like golf and im sure when i post my thread about the open Championship this weekend, it will be moved within a matter of minutes. Basically, I didnt come over here to get information about undeserved red cards and whos kicking the ball where but its here.

1.Red card was total BS
2. Davies blew the header in the box
3. I knew they weren't about to give us another PK.

I don't understand why the defenders play so aggressive inside the box - they should call more PK's on these clowns.

Fsquid I think the U.S. will beat Egypt. I don't think they will lose all three game in this tournament. I can't believe Brazil let Egypt back in that game to tie 3-3 until the Brazil penalty kick by Kaka to win late in the game 4-3. But soccer is like most sports that's why you play the game to see who will win and who will lose.

I don't think Egypt will be a cakewalk. Granted, Brazil did allow them a bit more space than they should've had on their third goal, but for most of the second half, Egypt was passing circles around them. I think Brazil really lucked out on the penalty, as it seems that the 4th official used video replay to inform H.Webb of the handball. Egypt's appealing the call. Webb and his assistant had called a corner, then changed their decision.

If we manage to get a point anywhere, I'll be happy.

Some people are just really abject A$$holes, I mean really. I've never clicked on a thread and bitched about what was posted, claimed something was gaer than some city, move thread, even if the subject matter wasn't to my liking. I'd almost understand if this was a football or basketball season but it isn't, some of you can really just go and fk off and die.

I think the positives from this game are that even with 10 men we were still able to get in space against a team that doesn't give much space. We have some really good young stars and those 2 goals were just absolutely amazing shots.

Midfield still can't seem to string more than 3 passes together.
