Moe, is UAH joining the CCHA this year.... and a CCHA team moving out...or...is that not happening yet for awhile?

It won't be for next year, but that is what SHOULD happen if college hockey doesn't want to be losing more programs in the very near future.

The CHA is gone and both Niagara and Robert Morris are set to join Atlantic Hockey in 2010-11. Bemidji State has applied to the WCHA and Alabama-Huntsville has applied to the CCHA... both for 2010-11. What needs to happen now is for a CCHA team, like UNO or NMU, to jump to the WCHA too so both conferences can be at 12 teams. Getting a team to jump is the stumbling block right now, but I think something will be done this summer to make sure all 4 former CHA teams have a permanent home starting in 2010-11.

UNO has been pining to get into the WCHA for a while now. That would make sense.
