More on D. Fish
I happened to be in the car, Friday afternoon when they were interviewing someone from the NBA network (didn't catch his name). He basically stressed that Fish was the leader of this Laker team, regardless of his numbers, and he was the one that rallied the young guys after the game 2 loss. He basically stated that Derek was the smartest, classiest guy in the NBA, and simply a fantastic person. He sees him being a success in whatever he does after basketball whether it's coaching or the broadcast boost. He actually said that he could see Derek running for President one day, if that's direction he chose. Didn't say a whole lot that all of us don't already know, but it was great hearing it on a nationally syndicated radio show.

Always good to hear that said about Derek, but I was listening to the radio the day after the Laker loss in the latest playoff series, and whoever(I tuned in late and didn't catch who was speaking)was on was saying that Derek had become a liability on defense, that whoever he was guarding on Denver's team, was driving around him like he was standing still. I didn't see the game.
