He's counting down and you're #113. I don't think EMU will be that bad, even with a new head coach.

yeah, i don't want to be obnoxious and overoptimistic, but we were decent by our standards last year. And....while we lost some great players, we have a lot of returning starters. But, when you've been bad for this long you can't blame someone for predicting us to be at the bottom.

This is what I found most disturbing:

I agree with Aaron, EMU is underrated for this coming season and will surprise some people.

The writer has a point though. There is isn't a lot of overall interest in EMU sports period, forget the message boards (he could have tried Facebook as well), the thing that support's the writer's comment is EMU major sport's attendance has been dreadful, he may have asked if there are any EMU fans?

The unofficial Eastern Michigan Football Facebook page is routinely updated with stories and articles. Often they are posts swiped from what people post here, but we scour online for articles as well. Over the summer you will see a lot of updates of former EMU players as they progress in the NFL. If you are not yet a "Fan" of the page, please do so today. The page is about to reach a small milestone.

Thanks to the efforts of a lot of folks, there is growing momentum in the area of sports chat for EMU sports. I don't think they would have thought there was so little chat of everything on this site was instead on the Scout site. Maybe we all should consider the higher degree of exposure on a site like that....A site that so many fans from other schools check. We are a little "underground" right now.

I agree this team may surprise some folks...Not because the talent has changed (not yet, anyway) but because attitudes and morale have significantly shifted to the positive.

I'm 100% on board with football.

BTW, when EA is upbeat, I'm upbeat.
