I can't think of a bigger upset winner in Nascar, maybe since 1990 when Derrike Cope won the Daytona 500. Just amazing.

And I'm thinking the fences at Dega will be about 5 feet higher by the time the next race comes to town.

Sorry it's taken so long to respond to this, but I agree with both of these statements. I'd always considered the Derrike Cope win the biggest upset in modern NASCAR history until this year's spring Talladega run.

Wow, Derrike Cope. I havent heard that name mentioned in a while. I remember his niece being in my first grade class and getting to meet him when he came to talk during an assembly at our school.
