Some of those Kentucky posts are some of the dumbest posts I have read in a long time. No respect for our program, fans or players. This is honestly what Cal wanted? He can have it. All they care about is winning, bragging and talking smack. (Not all of them). What is truly sad is they honestly think that Our recruits are theirs. No recruit ever said they Commit to Cal. They committed to the University of Memphis. Kentucky will win now because of Cal, but I really don't think Cal will be as happy as he was here. His big Ego might get what it wants, but He and his family will not.

Yeah, I have been amazed, they just assumed all the recruits were theirs and started talking about them like KY had recruited them for years. KY hasn't been on Memphis recruiting level in years and instantly they start acting like they get any recruit they want again.

The assumption that signed kids were Cal's kids and that means there is no ethical issue if those kids head to ky is asinine. Kid wants to make a change? Not a problem. Ex Memphis coach wants to take the kid at a new school- a kid that was signed due to Memphis boosters ad support and money- makes Calipari asinine.

Memphis was so much better than ky that ky was meaningless. ky wanted all things Memphis and is turning an even blinder eye to ex coach's spinning.

So let me get this straight. You are saying that Kentucky fans never wanted any of Memphis's players. So you guys didn't want Xavier Henry, cousins, dodsen, or coleman? You have to be out of your mind if you think we believe that. Why wouldn't you want to improve a slumping program? Don't say your not slumping either. If you weren't slumping you would still have gillespie. If we could be in another conference by ponying up some money it would have already been done I guarantee unless Calipari vetoed it. RC Johnson was all about us going to the Big East. Why wouldn't he be. It would have to mean more money for the program. Hey sailor I always heard a saying n the Navy could you tell me if it is true are not, I heard sailors take the attitude of "it aint gay when underway. Now I am not sure where this came from but I figured with your disposition and hostile attitude you could probably let me know. As far as paying your way into a conference, it has happened before. If we went to a conference and said we will give you 30 million and not accept any tv or revenue from the conference for the first 3 years some conference would jump on that. With in being in the conference for 10 years UM would gain there investment back. I cannot remember the guys name but he was a long time affiliate of the program and some time back he had suggested a similar plan but with alot more details, but basically what he was saying was go to the banks and boosters and get the money and conferences would listen. Also I heard Lapites speak of the same thing. Look I do not know if it would work but at least try, show the fans you want to get into a good conference instead of trying to make CUSA what it will never be. Memphis deserves and should be in a top notch conference period, all the bs aside this has gone on for to long. I am tired of hearing why conferences do not want us Lets get someone in charge who says no matter what UM will get in a conference if he has to pay beg steal and cheat this has gone on for to long. Ans as long as we keep the attitude of the lovely sailor here and only want to fight and divide and argue UM will stay where it is. One other thing you might not want to hear, but back off of Cal keep him close to the program for now and use him to our advantage. I am a UK fan first just as you are a tiger fan first but this can all work out with Cal going to UK IF IT IS PLAYED CORRECTLY. Keep Cal coming back so he is looking at Memphis as still apart of something he helped resurrect and use him for game and games and to help when the time comes to push us in a conference. Cal will have pull in the SEC just like he did in CUSA, so use that to help UM. You talk about Cal burning bridges, maybe UM should watch the bridges it is burning also.
