Bruce Pearl and the Hillbillies
BP says he is gonna remind Calipari and KY every chance he gets that TN has finished ahead of KY in the SEC for 4 straight years (of course, he'll fail to mention how KY blew them out twice last year). If the orange idiots wanna use this logic, maybe Pastner should remind that dumba$$ Pearl that Memphis has finished the season ranked higher than TN for 4 straight years--- AND COUNTING!

Why does it matter to us??? Sounds like one SEC school vs. another --- and I believe a lot of us on here could care less if either of them win a game from now until eternity.....
We will never root for KY and only root for UTK when they play KY!!!!!!!!!!

And his main problem with Memphis has been Calipari, and I'm not sure I have a ton of love left for that guy anymore, either.
So I've gone from "loving to hate" Bruce Pearl to mostly just ignoring him.
I actually like Pearl. I dislike Tennessee as much as anyone, but I have to admit that has has brought fun and excitement back to their basketball program and manages to fill up Thompson-Bolling arena. IMO, he is a better game-time coach than Calipari, although Calipari is the better recruiter.

I never wanted Pearl, but would have supported him in Memphis if he was good for the team. To me, it would have been a dose of bitter medicine I would have to swallow to get better. To me, JP is a much better long-term choice. He's a sugar pill with miraculous healing powers for our program.

Pearl said the stuff on the Big Orange caravan typical comments from coaches this time of year. I'm not much into trash talking by coaches but they better say something interesting after laying out some cash for some golf and awful food.

All Sexhog is doing is validate everything that everyone thinks of him. He is a slimeball, a clown, and a mediocre coach whose teams underachieve in the post season. He's going to remind Cal about UT finishing ahead of Kentucky? Good for him. All it got him last year was 3 beatdowns from Kentucky; a #9 seed and a first round exit. Sexhog is the greatest coach in the history of NCAA basketball at getting his team up for near meaningless games in the regular season and then choking like a rancid pig when it counts.

What does this have to do with anything? I don't mind Pearl at all. It's Tennessee I hate. I hope he beats the tar out of Calsucky and he continues to remind them that UT has finished higher and will continue to do so.
