Coming off of a 50 win season i have no idea why we are ranked at 32 but i just wanted to say i look forward to seeing ASU in Greenville this coming March. Should be a great tournament and a chance for every team to get some quality wins.

I too am looking forward to ASU visiting ECU. I think #32 is a bit low, but you guys will have plenty of opportunity to climb in the rankings as the season progresses.

Thank you Sundevil. Are you planning on making the trip to Greenville? We should have some nice weather by then but not as nice as arizona weather. The even sadder thing is we arent even in the top 50 in baseball america. No one in greenville really considers that poll a legitimate source of baseball knowledge considering it is located in the middle of ACC country. It seems we always have to do something to prove ourselves over and over again but what else is new. 51 wins last season and they dont even put us in the top 50. Your right about our schedule it is a very tough one. The bad thing is we are bringing in alot of new faces, guys coming off of surgery and rehab. The tournaments especially the one to christen our new baseball stadium is key to our season. Georgia, ASU, and Michigan are all in the top 30.

Im not making the trip, I actually live in CAL so it would be a bit expensive for a weekend roadie, I'm hoping to catch the action live via satellite or if neccessary on the net (like last year).
ASU lost some talent but returns its best starting pitcher and a couple of bonafide AA caliber players, last season the Devils were pretty young and inexpierenced overall, although they lost a few to grad and the draft they should be a more experienced unit, if they can fill a pitching slot and key IF position they will be a CWS threat.

As usual the Devils play perhaps the toughest schedule in the nation with OOC matchups vs. Long Beach St, Tulane, ECU, Oklahoma, Baylor, and LSU, and of course theres always tough pac ten foes USC, Stanford and Arizona.

Yes that would be a bit expensive. Just to give you the heads up we are broadcasting all 56 of our games on the Radio so you could always listen to at least the ASU vs ECU game. The website to listen to the game is http://www.bonesville.net. We start our season off at C of C this upcoming weekend then we have two tough tournaments the remaining weekends until the Keith LeClair Invitational Tourney. We should have a great crowd the whole weekend in the neighborhood of over 5,000. I saw that yall play UNC. Ill definately be rooting for you then. If you ever want to look at the new stadium we are building that will be open by the time the tournament starts go to this link. Were are the rest of the Pac-10 fans?

Hey Sundevil,
To give you an update on our season. We started our season today away at College of Charleston who is 29th. We controlled practically the whole game until they hit a 3 run homer with 2 out in the 9th. Then in the top of the 10th we scored 3 runs to take the lead and won the game 9-6. 3 of those runs were unearned. I cant wait til the Keith LeClair tourney. Should be a great weekend for collegiate baseball. Best of luck until we meet.
