The ULM/Mississippi State game was a good one. Had a 1-1 tie with a pitcher's duel going on. Going into the bottom of the seventh inning MSU had issued 11 strikeouts and ULM handed out 9 K's of their own. Then the Warhawks scored six runs to win 7-1 in front of the fifth largest home crowd they've ever had, over 3,600 in attendance. It was a perfect night for baseball, the air was still and cool with lots of energy in the stadium.
