To maintain our sanity, I believe we need to
reevaluate how we look at the program. First, I'm just going to enjoy the regular season. Want to win as many games as possible. I feel much better coming home from a game when we win than when we lose.
Then, I'm going to consider the tournament a complete second season.
If we happen to win it, then great. We get to continue to play a little more. If we don't, I have no expectations of playing any more. Season's over. By some miracle, and believe me, it will be a miracle, we are invited to play some more, good, But I've already enjoyed two seasons out of a possible three, so that isn't bad. I'm tired of having unrealistic expectations and then being disappointed. When I was young man, I realized very quickly I wasn't going to date Marilyn Monroe, so I didn't waste my life thinking that at some point it was going to happen. And really guys, my life has been much better. I wouldn't be surprised if Scotto had a picture of me with Marilyn Monroe.

Oh Scotto. I'm disappointed in you. That's Ted Williams, not Joe Dimaggio. However that's a nice picture of Ted before they cut his head off when they put him in a freezer.

The only way to look at it. Otherwise, you'll go crazy. We had one of the best seasons we have had in a long time. I enjoyed it. I'm still enjoying it. I just feel for the seniors because of the short second season.

I agree. But since I'm already crazy, it really doesn't matter.

Right, because if you'd dated her, and I know that if you had dated her, she'd have wanted to marry you. Therefore, you be a widower now, in fact a widower for about 47 years.

But think about the women I could have had in that 47 years as the widower of Marilyn Monroe. I'll bet old Joe Dimaggio scored quite a few hits after he retired from baseball with that resume.
