Why do I think that NIU only practices as if 3 point buckets count. bopal, remember the game in DeKalb when we won ot the buzzer because one of their guys singlhandedly kept them in it with the long range shots?
I hope NIU continues to imporve because we need a better Chicago land presence in the MAC. I like thier coach...he's made a difference.
Nice comeback win with all heart, as others have said. Let's go for it on Thursday.

Wasn't that Pancratz? That kid could shoot. It didn't help that Edwards and Haut were in foul trouble throughout. I think Hughes had a chance to win/tie and missed a 8 footer over Edwards. That was a heckuva game.
I agree I think NIU should get better, but they've had a hard time utilitizing talent (Smallwood, Hughes, Pancratz) to form good teams. They seemed to underperform their ability. Now they don't even have that great of talent. Honestly, it's bad for the whole MAC that no one in the MAC West was lower than 269 on the RPI. That's horrid.
