There isn't a purpose to your posts other than to create a fake amount of hype for some kid that for those of us who have seem him play is average at best.

He doesn't have an offer from us, there is no reason to spam us with this baloney. Why not take it to a general recruiting forum, why are you focusing on us?

theNewguy,

Warriorfan is right. You are making this personal. I told you in a post on 3/11 on this same thread to take it easy on Warriorfan. NIU is recruiting Keuhn. I can see your point if NIU was not recruiting him and Warriorfan was making these posts. It sounds like to me that PJ probably sees alot of himself in Scott. We need someone who has good hands and runs precise routes. Warriorfan still keep posting and sorry about theNEWguy.

Really .. you know something about NIU's interest level ? You're tight with Coach Fleck and you know he has no interest in Kuehn ? Really ? Interesting how you presume to speak for them and control this blog.

As for baloney .. you think Fleck is in habit of recruiting "average, at best" players. Really ?

p.s. same for Ball State, WMU, Toledo.

I said you are spamming this board with this BS about an average recruit that we haven't made an offer to.

I made no comments about coach Fleck. I think you should stop spamming with your 2 user names. It is getting very annoying and clearly I'm not the only one who thinks so. He is an average at best receiver prospect at the D1 level.

NUC Combine (Apr 26): Awarded "Fastest Man" with 4.54 in 40 yd; WR play got him invited to their Regional Combine in Indy in July

FBU Camp (May 1-3): 2.5 day camp with WR instructor Andre Rison resulted in Scott getting nomination for FBU/Rivals "Top Gun" on the spot. He also apparently dabbled in kicking and put several FGs thru from 50 and then 55 yds on an indoor field (no wind).

Scout Combine (May 10): got "Elite Eight" award for being Top 8 offensive performer for any position.

Kuehn, WR, Class of 2010 .. just got confirmation, Kuehn will be at NIU Camp at St Rita on Sunday (5/31).

His bio .. 61 catches, 687 yards, 9 TDs in 10 games last season. He was All State Special Mention (Tribune) along with Prater and Hunt. He is 6'0", 190 lbs, runs official 4.54 forty and 4.10 shuttle. Heard from one of his coaches, he just maxed out in weight room this week .. benched 255 lbs, power cleaned 285 lbs, squated 405 lbs.

Stay tuned .. he will emerge as most under-rated IL WR.

You can't be serious.

Your over posting about an average, and that's being nice, recruit is making me hope we never offer this guy.

You are doing more harm than good at this point.

What does it matter. Does Kill come on this website. He is making up his own decision. No one on this websit has any effect.

In other news, Nick Jones received an offer from South Carolina. NEXT!!!

It's hijacking a good thread is what it's doing.

As for Jones...that pretty much screwed us, I was hoping that he could slip through the cracks for a bit longer.

Although maybe we have some good vibes from him on being his first offer. I doubt it but anything can happen!

Yes I was there. 225 kids were present. Spent about 1 1/2 hrs warming up and doing drills. Standing jump, 10 yd schuffle, 40 yd sprint. Each result was recorded by us. While this was occuring, Coach Kill was in the stands answering questions by the parents for about an hour. Then they put on pads and helmets and broke down by position and went through specfic drills, pass rushing. route running etc. All in all very organized and impressive. There will be 2 more in DeKalb and Coach Kill may do 6 next yr. The running back from Rich was there.

I'm encouraged by the sheer number of recruits who were there. We will see if any of this pays off, but the number is nice.

RE: 2010 Football Recruiting Thread
Thanks for the great update gcd, with 225 potential recruits showing up it sounds like the event was a huge success. Kudos to Coach Kill for having this organized and perhaps we will see some of these kids come out to DeKalb for the camps over the next 3 weeks. Correct me if I'm wrong but the big camp is this weekend as part of the over nighter.

Hopefully we found a diamond in the rough or two from the city as part of this excercise. We have to do some recruiting in the city of Chicago at this point as football is coming back to the city schools. I'm glad to see we are establishing a rock solid base there. Having 225 show up goes a long way.

Slinging away, are we. Take some deep cleansing breaths. You have trouble dealing with facts, here are 3 for sure:

1. I only post under this User Name, period. Jump to whatever conclusions you like, so you can make whatever points you like. It is what you do best.

2. I have only posted facts. But you finally made your only legit point. My posts are at worst "annoying", nothing more. You ride an emotional roller coaster and need to relax. Ask yourself, why do posts on a blog of a kid NIU is recruiting bother you so much. It is just a blog .. uh, what they are for. If you can dispute anything I have stated as fact, please do so.

3. He is being recruited seriously. NIU, Ball State, WMU, Toledo are all recruiting Kuehn hard. Per my sources, all have been in contact with Waubsonie coaches, all/most have been to Waubonsie, and all have corresponded with Kuehn many times. Go march into Fleck's office and warn him you think he is recruiting and "average, at best" player. Or perhaps you don't know nearly as much about football as you claim.

That this all bothers you so much reveals a lot more about you than me. Please grow up, this is just a blog.

Kuehn was at ST Rita. Well put together kid, does not look 6-0, more like 5-10. Looked very fast in the 40 and Kill was personally working with him on rugby kicks

He lead the STATE in rushing as a Soph. That's not bad, not bad at all.

LA produces some pretty good players year in, year out, but the issue is that last year we didn't land any of the targets from that state.

Perhaps, but we made a big investment in building relationships in LA last year, that could pay off in the next recruiting class.

I sure hope it pays off sometime. By my count this is the first kid that we have interest in from LA that has become known.

Maybe we are just picking our spots this season.

... Supposedly the relationships were built before 09' AND that is why we went there. The staff did not go there to build , but continue their relationships that already existed. That was story we heard we they were hired.

I should have posted this earlier, but we've also offered a DB from Louisiana named Carvin Johnson. Here is his profile...

Yeah that's better, now I'm starting to get flashbacks to last season when we were in on a ton of kids from LA and got zip zero.
