UALR has many of the same gripes. How long did it take us to get approval to get a dorm on campus? How long did it take us to have doctoral programs approved? How long did it take us to get an oncampus arena, when State schools like Arkansas Tech and UCA have had great arenas on campus for years? (We only got that because of the Stephens donation). Fayetteville has done everything they could to keep UALR down, for years, although they seem to have backed off as of late.

Evidently not true. We were told after the last Tip In Club meeting that it's worse than ever. PTJR was standing there when the comment was made by someone who should know.04-rock

Minor offense by the projected starting quarterback for the Chickenhawgs, but Petrino must be getting tired of the culture in athletics up there that is apparently very lax on athletes staying out of trouble that he has inherited.

Latest installment of the series: Chickenhawg linebacker Ryan Powers arrested for shoplifting.

Well, that probably takes care of one problem, since they're several over the limit of scholarships, if I'm correct. Makes it easy to pare down the roster. If the kid is that stupid, he probably doesn't need to be on scholarship. Sorry, but as a judge I know once said, you can't legislate against stupidity!03-banghead

Does make it easy. "Hey coach, who's on our roster this year?" "Wait a minute. Let me check. Who's in jail and who's out on parole?":lmfao:03-lmfao03-lmfao
