Baby Boomer Financial Stress
Anyone have any numbers on how many Boomers are financially supporting parents that took a hit in the recent economic crisis? Or those that are supporting adult children that have lost jobs, some of which may have to move back into the "empty nest" in addition to supporting thier parents and planning for retirement?

I know a number of boomers in this situation and began to wonder how persuassive this problem is. Somewhat surprised the media hasn't addressed this issue, or even Obama, to sell his "stimulis pacakge".

I will be taking care of my parents. I send them a check every month, just like they sent me a check every month when I was in college.

RE: Baby Boomer Financial Stress
i'm still living at home at 22, will be for sometime given the current state of the economy and my lack of working experience. both of my parents are boomers. though i'm finishing college ( the first degree) in july so maybe i can manage to find me a job and help around the house with some more income.
