Last night and this morning. I don't remember so much attention with the minority's response to a SOTU. But then it was so universally horrible that maybe just maybe there is something to this liberal media bias. Man if that guy is your face your toast in 2012. Certainly 2010. Maybe you guys should have Rush giving the Republican response. He's the de facto leader of your party.

Jindal is a terrific governor. Your response is indicative of the dumbing down of the American electorate and the rise of the cult of personality. Who cares if you're actually qualified to do a job as long as you can look good when you talk about it.

Sad commentary on the state of the American electorate.

His message was spot on. His delivery was, to say the least, not his best performance. It would appear the Republicans, as they've done in the past, are over-handling Jindal. He speaks better off the cuff.

Oh, and are we gonna hear, "History was made.....black president.....etc." for the entire 4 f'n years and after every "first"? Are we gonna hear that the first black president just passed his 1st year mark, etc.? That threshold was crossed. Move on. I didn't really care about hearing about Jindal's family either. I know he, like many, has to provide a message that "connects" with the common American, but dude, just talk to us like a statesman. We on the right don't buy into the snake oil industry.

.

Jindal is on-game and needs no false worshiping and such foolishness like "The Bambi".

I swear I am waiting for Idiots to start kissing 'The Bambi' Ring in Public soon.

I have seen Jindal talk comfortably about all subjects and his responses are not the rhetoric talking points that are always neatly laid out of the days Sound Bites begin.

I have seen what he has done as one of the most effective and honest Governors in the history of a State that is steeped in ugly, nasty, filthy, backroom politics .... he has risen above all the greed and childishness and IS keeping his promises.

This state was dead before Katrina and that was or should have been the Death Nail .... it wasn't because of Bobby Jindal. He has such a pure approach to being a leader that, you simply know the guy is going to get it done one way or the other and I don't mean Legal versus Illegal, I mean get his hands in the mix to achieve success.

He is very articulate and resonates with the People every where he goes .... I have found that when Jindal speaks, he actually means what he says and believes 100% in the things he says and he does .... he is not a Trial Balloon tosser, a Liar just to get elected, a political whore-monger, or a sell out.

If he had an off moment as far as not being some Shakespearean Orate, then just keep on listening to the Doot from the Oval Lagoon and you will be hypnotized into B.S. Land.

Jindal is Not a Political Party - - he is a Working Man that gets it done ... 04-rock

Jindal needs to lift some weights.

Though my thoughs of "America will never elect a big-earned dorky looking fellow" sort of went out the window with BO....
