Question for LRAlum
You seem to be very knowledgable about college basketball. I was wondering how significant a loss do you think Stevee will be. I think Matt can replace him adequately in the line-up for the most part. I think it could hurt us dealing with a press, depthwise, and late game situations. What do you think?

You didn't ask me but I think we need the freshman to step up and go ahead and play like Sohomores. Lionel looks like he's ready, and by this time of year, they really aren't freshmen experience wise anyway.

It all depends on how Shields adjust the offense. We have enough talent to still win. Brandon has to be more aggressive. And I liked what I saw from Lionel. If those two can penetrate, Edwards will get his space. The only thing is that Patterson and Foster are not good 3 point shooters. So the defenders can cheat and defend the lanes. Will we screen for Matt? Shields will earn his paycheck the next few weeks. For the press, we need to get the ball to the middle of the floor, we seem to always give it to the player in the corners. Or the players that receive the ball in the corner need to get the ball quickly to the player coming in bound or to a player in the middle of the court. It'll be interesting to see how our season will end.
