One of the strangest things is that we've been...
unable to make the Stephens Center a place we are dominant. For years we had outstanding home records at cavernous Bartom Coliseum, in front of paltry crowds and this continued at Alltel (except for Sidney's year). All I ever heard from coaches is how advantageous it would be to "play where you practice". Maybe teams found it harder to come into Barton and shoot well because of the huge open spaces behind the basket. Teams seem to have little trouble finding their shooting touch at Stephens. We have more losses at home than on the road this year- that's simply insane.
