I believe that's soccer.

EXACTLY, and that is what FIU should focus on.
And did you know, the best thing about Miami, is that it is so close to the United States!

Happy St Patrick's Day:drinky2:

Hey, i'm going to interject here with a little reality. TROY is the new Quarterback U. Omar Haugabook, Jamie Hampton, Levi Brown, and soon to come, Corey Robinson and Dantavious Parker. The rest of you can argue who is #2, because WE are #1! 05-mafia 03-thumbsup

no one said you had to be successful at the next level to be a great college QB. There is a difference in college and pro level QB's. Omar was an excellent college level quarterback, no one can argue that. I'd say that Levi Brown is a far better QB than Rusty Smith. We also have Jamie Hampton who will win Belt awards, and behind him we have Parker and Robinson. Corey Robinson is the kid who broke every national QB record, throwing 91 TD's with only 3 INT's his senior year. He chose Troy over Louisville and Ole Miss.

TROY is Quarterback U in the Sun Belt. FAU has had Rusty Smith and that's it. Tell me how that qualifies you as Quarterback U.

and as for Jarboe, he has not done anything on the field to warrant being called a thug. sure, he made that stupid rap vid on someone's cell phone, but he is in no way in the same class as some of FAU's players. multiple teams have complained about FAU playing dirty, so it's not just Troy making stuff up. Your players DO play dirty, you can't argue that.

So according to the bolded statment, its ok to be a thug OFF the field at Troy? Last time I checked FAU players hadnt been arrrested.

Congrats on being the first team with points for this years Fulmer cup.

MTSU, TROY and MEMPHIS.

So out of the 18 teams or so (Guestimating that number) that we have played, 3 teams have said something. Hmm just happens to be three teams that we beat in 2007. Note to Troy if you dont want your QB hurt stop running the spread offense which makes him vulnerable.

04-cheers

Lets see what develops with Jeff Brohm heading up QB's. Ill admit that its way to early, but in my post I said is OTW to developing FAU as the next QB U.

And Im sorry TDC, Check all the QB rankings, I dont see LEVI on them.

Last I cheched, that's only with running spread quarterbacks. Levi Brown has proven that you don't have to run to be an effective spread QB. DuJuan Harris does enough running for everyone. He's also proven a running back can have 1,000 yards of offense in the spread.

So your trying to say that in a city of 86,396 with roughly 300,000 people there each day in South Florida that Troy with a population of 14,000 is thug U? wow.... 03-banghead I'm sure plenty of your so called "students" have made rap videos... I guess Jarboe was just stupid enough to let it get out, but it doesn't make him a thug. I know plenty of guys around Troy that rap and they are not thugs. Some are in the Troy Music Industry program which is very hard to get into and has produced some of the best music writers and producers in the Southeast and in the Nation.

Every team has roughly the same amount of thugs. The only difference here is that ours got caught. Now you might say I don't have a leg to stand on until I can prove such a theory, and you may be right, but I'll stand by my theory. Don't act like your team doesn't have thugs. You can't tell me none of your players are doing illegal activities.

If you're referring to Troy's game, which you're probably not, and taking a jab at FAU, it was the only game to my recollection in years where we took out a quarterback. Most certainly not intentional. Then their backup quarterback proceeded to shred the hell out of our defense, though our defense was one "bear" down. Running quarterbacks seems to be our Achilles heal.

Dont care so much about the rap video, I would agree that wasnt too big a deal UNTILL you see his prior and post activites. Put it into context with his behavior and its more telling.

I was more concerned with his SECOND arrest for violence.

1st offense Bringing a loaded gun to his high school
2nd offense Arrested for Misemeanor Assault on a woman.

I know I got into a huge argument with the Troy fans on this over at GTT, and in all honesty this guy is trouble brewing for you all. He could throw your program back from all the progress youve made.
