Man, they are really awful. A real shame what he did to that program. I know they will recover, but this is painful to watch. They should avoid national television until they have something vaguely competitive.

I know, I know - but it's not like it's Louisville or UTK or something. These guys are just running around in some hopeless attempt. It's really sad for the guys left holding the bag up there.

They'll be back. We all know Crean is top notch.

But while I am a Memphis guy first, last, and always, I am also a U of Illinois grad school alum. I have no interest in a strong Indiana...

Yeah, watching it on CBS right now. To be honest, Illinois isn't that impressive either and they're supposedly #20. Hmmm.

Not that i really care, but that tech on the illinois player dunking was retarded. He was just fired up, that wasn't taunting. I hate when refs at all levels don't let players have some fun and show emotion over a good play.

in my most charitable moments I might feel sorry for them. mostly not... the kids that are there get a chance to show what they can do, and Crean knew exactly what he was getting into, or he is less intelligent than I give him credit for.

the school was asking for it though.

RE: I feel sorry for Indiana ...
They made their pact with the devil when they hired Sampson, I have no sympathy for them. They could've fired him when he had those recruiting violations over the summer but didn't because he'd brought in Eric Gordon and they wanted to have that good year with DJ White as a senior. Then it all fell apart on them.

I still remember the story about Sampson trying to pressure Rose into signing a LOI on his visit. Too bad.

The Hoosiers will be good again. Crean is quality. I just hope they aren't real good.
