Can't say I'd disagree too much. The corruption among the politicians and public figures is rampant. Add to that the absolutely ridiculous behavior of their police officers as well. Then the sales tax is downright robbery. It's well over 10% and they tax EVERYTHING. The traffic is terrible, which is mostly due to the fact that Lake Michigan eliminates all the possibility for expansion to the East, so all the Urban sprawl happened in one direction. They do have quite a few parks for such an urban area, but I am glad that I no longer live there. Still a fun place to visit, but a weekend is enough time for me in Chicago.
