MWC fans' Board Dilemma
The old MWC board was fun but now it is gone. What to do? The choice for MWC fans in Killerfrogs which its past censoring put off fans who chose not to use it. Or, come to ncaabbs where MWC fans' posts would by subject to challenge (no TCU "guardian" to cut off a WAC or MWC fan's post.

In watching the MWC fans making their choice, it is interesting to observe. The first fans to go ove to Killerfrogs were the traditional fans who over boasted and over exaggerated on the MWC board. My guess here is that those fans had no trouble with potential killerfrog censorship probably, because in their view, nothing in their overexaggerated and over hyped posts would be censored anyway.

On the other hand, the more thoughtful MWC fans are caught in a dilemma and, it appears, many of these fans have yet to make their choice. Some, it appears, have reluctantly, gone onto Killerfrogs. And, it is also noted, the more thoughtful MWC fans are also staying off this board.

It is a difficult decision. It would be like being a Big-12 fan and having your conference board monitored and censored by the University of Texas or being a SEC fan and having your board monitored and censored by the U of Florida.

I really enjoyed the WAC experience and also the WAC board run by Rice fans. This old WAC board, like the old MWC board, did not censor but it was free play. And this was the board where the "elite" MWC fans flamed the living h### out of the "never have, never will" WAC teams. You have an open board, a free for all.....and eventually, events will prove or disprove your boasts and claims. That was the fun and the enticement of the old WAC and MWC boards.

For once I partially agree with you Tailgas! The old MWC forum was fun because it was uncensored. I doubt that this board will be any less moderated than the killerfrogs board will be though. I base that on past experience.

Wobblefrog, there are very big differences here. First of all, the issue of Killerfrog censorship was by TCU moderators censoring posts by their MWC colleagues questioning MWC decisions regarding TCU. There has never been or is an equivalent type of censorship by CUSA/ncaabbs moderators of their CUSA colleague's posts. That is, a CUSA fan can come on the CUSA/ncaabbs board and ask questions and/or challenge a CUSA school and their fans' positions and actions. Recall that the censorship by TCU Killerfrog moderators...the most anger over this was by MWC fans and these MWC fans discussed this in length on the old MWC board. For you to somehow equate Killerfrogs' censorship to the ncaabbs boards is totally absurd.

Second, the moderators of a MWC/ncaabbs board would undoubtedly be drawn from the MWC fan base. Thus, the supervision and/or, if you will, censorship, would be a conference concensus....that would probably follow the posting guidelines on all the various conference ncaabbbs boards.

Third, you were/are allowed more freedom to post on the CUSA/ncaabbs board with your flames.....than any CUSA or MWC fan will be allowed on killerfrogs.

Tailgas, you're just mad cause you know they will not put up with your rambling about nothing on killerfrogs the way they did on the old mwc board. If they haven't already, they will ban your azz in a heartbeat! lmfao

Killerfrogs, after all, banned the azzes by MWC fans raising issues and questions that were not warmly received by Killerfrog moderators, for example, the TCU promised $1.2 million Ft. Worth Bowl vs the Big 12. Since Killerfrogs had no qualms banning MWC fans' azzes, their own conference colleagues, they certainly won't have any qualms banning mine.

You never know, you could get to like it here!
The WAC board moved here after the the old WAC board ran by a Rice fan disappeared. The people here are live and let live. No commericials! These are fan boards ran by fans.

You should get a few MWC school fans to volunteer to moderate....spread it out over several schools. We have a Bronco fan, an Aggie fan and a Fresno fan to moderate the WAC forum, plus a couple of fans from Rice and TCU that we like.

I have only deleted 2 posts in the last 2 years. Not a lot of moderation required.

Check out Babe of the DAy on the CUSA boards.....

P.S. Sure is easy to visit other conference forums here. One signup is all that is required.

We do maintain a loose level of moderation ... however the smack forum(s) are pretty much uncensored. It takes something illegal or pornographic or otherwise extreme to be removed there.

Actually, it was more of a issue of .... it was by far the most active... and eventually it ate up the users from the other conference BOTD boards borg style... assimilating posters and viewers.

:uberbow: it wouldn't be the most active if we didn't have the hottest babes :band:
