Nice crowd and better win versus Jacksonville
Mercer beats Jacksonville without Calvin Henry, and with Florence injured missing 9 minutes of the second half.

The crowd was just over 2,000, so an above average crowd. Nice to see that for sure!! Hopefully the crowds continue to grow.

I really think Hoffman has done some serious coaching on turnovers. Mercer used to be notorious under the previous coach for committing 20+ turnovers. Now it seems Mercer is right around 12 turnovers a game.

Great win! For selfish reasons, I was rooting for you guys, but I would have rooted for you guys regardless if first place would have been up for grabs! 04-cheers

When we lost to JU in Jacksonsville, they were celebrating like they had just won the championship. That didn't sit too well with me, so I am glad they've lost 2 straight.

Sounds like an awesome game. I'd love to see a replay of Florence's last shot.
