Offensive Grizzlies Commercial (FEF)
Does anyone else get driven crazy by the radio commercial about going to Grizzlies game and playing the game about who can eat the most cotton candy. All I can think of is that buying 20 cotton candys at the Fed Ex Forum would cost about $1000 with their prices. It's like they are living in some other world.

RE: Offensive Grizzlies Commercial (FEF)
I haven't heard it, but I don't see what the fuss is about. Sounds like they are encouraging people to have fun. They're not forcing anyone to buy 20 cotton candies. And cotton candies sounds like a metaphor for any item or opportunity to have fun. Often, having fun includes contests. If you can't afford cotton candies, do or buy something else. It'd take an effort to find something offensive about it. Maybe it actually is worse than it sounds, but the worst I can even imagine is perhaps a lukewarm lackluster effort of an underfunded or underfocused marketing program. Maybe they had Darth Vader music behind it. Or Jaws. Maybe they hired Ben Stein to do the voiceover, although that wouldn't be offensive, that'd just be irritatingly boring. 03-razz

Worst commercial ever. Has nothing to do with basketball and does nothing to make anyone want to go to a Grizzlies game.

I heard that the Grizzlies are going to start showing these info-commercials during time outs.

It's amazing what some of these "fans" post about the Grizz.
And these are the same "fans" that are suprised the Titans went to Nashville instead of Memphis. Go figure.
They'll also be the same bandwagon jumpers that will gladly look elsewhere if the Tigers slide for a season or two.
