Perception isn't always reality.
We all seem to think of Troy as living and dying by the three point shot, but in our game the other night, we actually took one more three point shot than they did. Unfortunately, we didn't hit many of them.03-hissyfit

Still, 41.5% of their attempts were from the arc, so the label still sticks.

Even with that, when they had the lead in the last four or five minutes of the game, they played a controlled offense. Their point guard was very good at running the team, and they didn't take any shots early in the shot clock. I could see them winning the tournament. But I could also see us, Western, Middle, or possibly someone else also winning it.
It's wide open this year. I'm still optimistic. It would be great to have a parachute by winning the overall. A guaranteed NIT bid would be nice going into the tournament.04-rock
