Stevie has 234 career assists so far, headed to 242 to make the list. Matt has 44 made 3PTs so far this season. Needs 62 to make the all-time list (James Scott had 62 in 87-88 for 15th place).

Stevie would have already made the list long ago if he wasn't so intent on taking every shot himself. It's amazing he has as many assists as he has. But it's obvious he's doing what the coaches want, or he wouldn't be playing. And he does make things happen, so I can't complain about that.

However, it is difficult for III to make any all time lists when he only gets 15 minutes a game, and five shots, like he did against UNO, and only gets seven or eight shots (most contested) when he plays 30 minutes. Glad we're winning lately, but I hate to see a shooting talent like III wasted. As LRTrojan pointed out, most of time the only passes he receives is when he is closely guarded. When he's open, they seem to ignore him many times. Actually he's very easy to spot. When I watched the New Orleans game, he was the only player on the bench whom I could identify. He looked like there was a spotlight on him. Coaches need to urge him to get more sunshine.
