Grizzlies trade with Portland...
....will not happen this year or likely for the next hundred years or so.

They signed Darius Miles to a 10 day contract per the CA. If he plays 2 more games this year:
-Portland will have to pay him the remainder of his $18M contract
-Portland will then be over the salary cap
-Force them to pay a luxury tax for being over the cap
-Severely limit their free agent signings

He may turn out to be a good player for the Grizz.

It's a pretty funny move I hope it ruffles Nate's feathers.

I'm glad the Grizz called their bluff.

Good move if the grizz plan to use their cap room this summer.. now only atlanta, oklahoma city and minnesota will have the money to compete with them.

That's what they get for winning the Greg Oden sweepstakes.

Probably the first time in team history the Grizzlies made a decision that 28 out of the other 29 teams said, "Hell yeah! Great move!" Love it. Even Darius Miles, while trying to be as PC as possible, said something about the Blazers putting themselves in that hole b/c of the business decision they made.
